Teaching

I am passionate about teaching as a way of sharing musical experiences and learning myself. Since 2023, I am a Prof. for Historical Cello at the HKU Utrechts Conservatorium. There, I also teach modern (classical) cello, historical improvisation, basso continuo on the cello, chamber music and other electives in the historical department.

I regularly come to the Conservatoire Royal de Bruxelles to teach seminars and masterclasses on 19th century cello performance. I have also taught masterclasses at the Coonservatorio Superior “Manuel Castillo” in Sevilla and the Conservatorio Superior “Joaquín Rodrigo” in Valencia.

Three times per season, I lead workshops on different topics at the Podium Auxesis Concert Series in Groningen.

Do not hesitate to get in touch if you are interested in a trial lesson or want to know more about the upcoming masterclasses and workshops.
