I have always enjoyed being in the artistic leadership role in projects with orchestras and ensembles. I am especially interested in the practice of directing orchestral music from the cello alongside playing solo concertos.
In recent years, I have collaborated with the Orquesta Barroca de Sevilla in a few programs of this sort. In the 2025–2026 season, we performed C. P. E. Bach and Duport concertos combined with C. P. E. Bach symphonies.
For the 2026–2027 season, I am looking forward to directing a Beethoven programme with chamber music arrangements of the Eroica Symphony and excerpts from Die Geschöpfe des Prometheus.

In February 2027, I will be Artist in Residence at the Festivita Early Music Festival in Brussels, where I will lead a programme focused on the cello at the Madrid court, with symphonies by Boccherini and Brunetti alongside a Boccherini cello concerto. The other concerts of the residency will be the Boccherini Stabat Mater together with Gwendoline Blondeel and an improvisation duo concert with the gamba player Martin Bauer.
