I am a cellist specialized in historically informed performance practices. I am passionate about teaching and it has become my best learning experience. As an artist-researcher, I strive to become a fluent speaker of as many musical languages from the past as possible, with a particular expertise in the realization of chordal basso continuo on baroque cellos, and the musical language of virtuoso cellists who lived around Beethoven. I love improvisation, a good bass line and playing chamber music of the 19th century using the expressive tools.
